Slated to do battle with Lew Jenkins, lightweight champion, on July 17, at the New York Polo Grounds. The match was to be a 12 round nontitle affair, but now, Armstrong's manager Eddie Mead would like to scale Henry down to the lightwieght limit and claim Jenkin's title should Henry lay the title holder amid the resin. The NY boxing commission says no. Filed 7/11/1940. (For complete caption info see neg sleeve).
