The Henry Armstrong Foundation would like to thank the City of Columbus, Lowndes County, and the state of Mississippi for honoring Henry Armstrong with a historical marker in his home town and declaring Oct. 13th Henry Armstrong Day.

Clarence Weatherspoon, left (NBA basketball player), and with Deontay Wilder, right (only American boxer to win a medal at the 2008 Olympics) holding an autographed boxing glove by the great Smokin Joe Frazier, which was given to the Henry Armstrong Foundation in honor of Henry Armstrong. The glove was raffled off at the Friday Night Fights event and the proceeds from the raffle were given to the Feed the Children organization.
