Boxing Legend Henry Armstrong fought around the world and became the only fighter in history to win undisputed world championships in three different weight divisions, featherweight, welterweight and lightweight, within 10 months, on August 17, 1938. After retiring from boxing, he became an ordained Baptist Minister and devoted his life working with underprivileged youth. Armstrong had a passion for young people to get a vision an idea for their life.

The Henry Armstrong Foundation would be extremely honored to have young fighters around the world become members of  the Henry Armstrong Foundation Positive Self-image – Psychology Mentoring Youth Sports Program Online and participate with our Get An Idea Card. Writing down their goals, reading books, learning about financial literacy, entrepreneurship and taking action, exercising and volunteering in their community, becoming champion leaders.

The Youth Program represents: EXCELLENCE - INTEGRITY - ABILITY - PRIDE - STRENGTH - PATIENCE - DESIRE - LOVE

We are asking boxing gyms worldwide to support us in Armstrong’s honor to have their youth with their parents or guardians permission to join us.

We will seek funding to help support the youth in their boxing tournaments along with sending them get an idea cards and vision boards and affirmation cards and reward them with various prizes for participating in improving themselves and the world they live in.  Our #1 goal is to sow positive seeds in as many young people as possible WORLDWIDE.

Henry Armstrong's wishes were to continue empowering youth to realize their dreams. He would always say that youngsters must take responsibility for their own development and that they set the pattern and that they got to want something with desire. (4:To give subtilty to the simple, to the young man knowledge and discretion. Proverbs 1:KJV)
